Đa số các bạn du học sinh bao gồm Việt Nam lẫn các bạn quốc tế đều chọn thi chứng chỉ PTE cho mục đích du học, làm việc hay định cư vì tính khả thi, nhanh chóng và dễ dàng chinh phục.

Không giống với những chứng chỉ tiếng Anh khác, ưu điểm lớn nhất giúp PTE mang tính khả thi và dễ dàng chinh phục hơn các chứng chỉ khác đó là cách tính điểm chéo giữa các kỹ năng Nghe - Nói - Đọc - Viết. Điều này có nghĩa là nếu bạn gặp khó khăn ở một trong các kỹ năng, bạn có thể bù điểm bằng những kỹ năng khác mà bạn thực hiện tốt. Điều này giúp tránh hiện tượng chênh lệch điểm giữa các kỹ năng và đảm bảo rằng bạn đáp ứng được yêu cầu tiếng Anh khi đi du học, làm việc hay định cư một cách nhanh chóng.

Ngoài ra, chứng chỉ PTE cho phép bạn thi hoàn toàn trên máy tính nên sẽ khách quan hơn. Đăng ký thi mỗi ngày mà không phải chờ lịch thi cố định. Kết quả thi có rất nhanh chóng, giúp bạn giải quyết nhanh khi cần có chứng tiếng Anh cho các mục đích nhập học/ tốt nghiệp ở các trường hay đi du học, làm việc, định cư.
