IELTS SPEAKING PART 1 SAMPLE ANSWER TOPIC SMILE
1. Do you often smile?
It’s funny to think about it, but I actually smile pretty often. I’m a pretty optimistic person. I like looking on the bright side of things. So, that means I usually have a ' smile on my face, especially when I’m talking to friends and family. It’s always best to crack a smile even when you’re not in a good mood
2. Do you smile when people take pictures of you?
Yes, I definitely smile if I’m getting my picture taken. It’s always good to look happy in a photo. It makes you look better. To be honest, nobody wants to look horrible in old photos and see someone who looks so unpleasant or dead inside. So I make a habit of smiling for anything, including camera-ready
3. When do people give fake smiles?
I think people often fake a smile when they try to hide what they are feeling inside, especially when they are trying to console someone or sugarcoat something. It’s hard to tell whether fake smiles are good or bad, but at least they give comfort to other people, who are probably in need of some understanding or appreciation.
4. When do people smile to others?
I guess people smile at others when they’re eager and happy to see them. For example, if you have a good friend that you haven’t met for ages, you would probably smile when you finally see them. People also smile when they greet other people, whether they’re close or not. Smiling, in my country, is pretty much a common courtesy.

With the exception of government issued ID, I prefer to smile in photos. Scientifically, I’ve heard that smiling offers a mood boost. Also, I want to look as beautiful as I can so I can have a positive memory of myself, and you know that a smile is better to look at than a frown. A perfect picture is hard to come by, but at least a friendly face can make it a little bit better

Well, just a couple of months ago when I threw a birthday party at home. I invited all of my relatives and my friends who are near and dear to me. We didn’t only smile but also laughed a lot.
